👤 About
My name is Caíque Fortunato, and I’m from Minas Gerais, currently living in Belo Horizonte. I currently work at BHS, assigned to the Fundação de Apoio da UFMG (FUNDEP), where I handle system maintenance and evolution.
I am a master’s student in the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) at DCC/UFMG — rated CAPES 7, the highest evaluation level by CAPES - specializing in Software Engineering with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. I also hold a postgraduate degree in Cloud Computing from PUC Minas and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from DCC/UFMG, where I conducted research and published a paper in the HCI field.
On a daily basis, I primarily work with C#/.NET 3.5, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps. I also work with other technologies like: React, TypeScript, Next Js, HTML/CSS, PHP, in other words, I work as a full stack developer.
I have provided services for companies such as Forluz (React / TypeScript / JavaScript), Escola em Movimento (C#/.NET + Angular), and VALE (C#/.NET, Java, and Oracle SQL). In all these experiences, I have worked with agile methodologies and Microsoft services. I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in projects using microservices architecture, working with APIs and related technologies.
Outside of work and studies, I enjoy listening to music, watching videos about how things work, following podcasts, and writing. I’m a homebody, curious, and determined. When I commit to a challenge, I rarely give up before finding a solution. I truly enjoy teaching and learning from other people’s experiences.
